REACH: new restrictions for CMR substances - effective September 1, 2025

With the Regulation (EU) 2025/1731 of August 8, 2025, the European Commission updatesAnnex XVII of the REACH regulation, introducing new restrictions on the use of CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic to reproduction) category 1A and 1B substances.

As of September 1, 2025, the marketing and use of these substances above specific thresholds is prohibited
