Automating the delivery of SDSs
The results of our survey showed that companies often do not receive SDS revisions and that, in some cases, they also do not receive SDS revisions at all Safety Data Sheets.
Standard delivery of any SDS is a risky and complex process if it is not automated. A decision must first be made as to whether or not the SDS is to be provided, and then it is essential that it arrives in the hands of the recipient in a timely manner and that its receipt can be verified.
In addition, Article 31.9 of REACH requires the transmission of updated SDSs (versions due to new regulations or revisions affecting the hazardousness of substances or mixtures) to all recipients who have received products in the past 12 months.
At SDS-FullService, we offer a solution for the regulation-compliant distribution of SDS to downstream users, in full compliance with Articles 31 and 36 of REACH and applying the recommendations of CEFIC as well as major industry associations such as, for example, Confindustria.
